This converter changes an HDMI output terminal to component, allowing Blu-ray players and game consoles to be displayed on a TV or PC monitor with component input.
Although converters that change HDMI output to component have been widely used, there were many cases where output could not be displayed because of mismatched input and output resolutions. This issue often occurred when older monitors with component input supported 1080i, while the source device output was 1080P.
THDMIYP2 is equipped with a resolution switching function that can convert 1080P to 1080i.
This helps overcome compatibility problems and makes it possible to use a wider range of displays effectively.
